Bruce Harris
Bruce graduated from St. Louis University and went directly into the banking after college. He worked his way up from a teller to Vice President at Royal Banks. In 1978 Bruce suggested that we consider entering the barter industry. It was one of a variety of partnerships we would work together on over the years.
Bruce was very active with and a leader in the barter industry. In 1984 he became one of the founding members of N.A.T.E. (the premier organization for trade exchanges) and served on their board of directors. Bruce was also instrumental in the forming of B.A.N.C., the national currency used by trade exchanges nationwide. He received many distinguished awards including the Monkman/Crumpton Award, N.A.T.E.'s highest honor.
Bruce, my brother, my partner and good friend. I will miss you.
